The Tiger

I did this painting for a watercolor class I was taking a few years back (I like to see what other artists are doing, how they're doing it, and how much of it I can steal.)

This 8.5x11 watercolor was based on a photo I shot of a Siberian at Marine World-Africa in Vallejo, CA.

What I really think is neat about this painting is the blurred background, and not the subject (which I think is a kind of mediochre treatment).

I believe I'm best at animals I love, and I honestly don't know this tiger from Adam...
