Welcome to my paintings page...
Over the past dozen years or so I've worked primarily in watercolors– I like the transparency of the paint and because I've been traveling so much, I need paints that hit the road easily, dry fast, and won't explode if it gets too warm.

Recently I've been using a digital camera to shoot my subjects... and sometimes related stuff that I want to add to the scene.

Using Photoshop™ software, I can compose my elements together in a computer image before tackling the job– so now I can try different arrangements and compositions, and if there's something missing in my painting I really want to add, I can find it on the Internet and pop it in there!

(so, now you know one of my secrets...)

I currently own all the paintings you see here.
Would I sell any of them? I don't know... I'd have to see about that. I'm not even sure that any of them are finished!
